Torrey ramquist

Torrey Ramquist

Klein Cain Dance Department

Mrs. Ramquist was born and raised in Dallas, TX where began dancing at the age of four. She trained and competed in the DFW area in styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, and HipHop. She furthered her training at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Where she performed for the Reparatory 1 Dance Company, under the direction of Lily Cabatu-Weiss. The Company performed multiple works from professional choreographers and companies such as Robert Battle, Complexions Contemporary Ballet Company, Andy Noble, and Bruce Woods. 
Mrs. Ramquist is a University of Texas Alumni, where she was a member of the Texas Pom Squad for three seasons. Torrey received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Coaching and minors in Dance and Business. Following graduation she moved to Houston, TX where she furthered her professional dance career in the NFL. She was a member of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders for four amazing seasons and line leader for three of those four.
Mrs. Ramquist was the Dance Director at Bellaire High school for Three seasons, since then she's been a freelance choreographer, judge, and consultant traveling all over the Houston metroplex working with teams. Mrs. Ramquist is eager to be back coaching full time and help our young dance athletes create their Legacy.
